Youth evening as part of women's week. Among others: Silje Nergaard, Inga Live Kippersund, Anders Kippersund, Marianne Steifetten (these  three people were dancing), Stig Lillehaug and Per Thomas Nygaard performed 'Dust'. Silje sang the songs "Dust" and "Stardust"

Silje left the band HamJam, where she was the lead-singer since September 1982; the band performed often, in average 3-6 times a month.
[HamJam's information differs from other information:] Silje than started the Silje Nergård Band, with Kalle Hedløv (guitar), Jørn Fodnestøl (bass), Stig .... (piano) and Lage Thune Børresen [now called: Lage Thune Myrberget] (drums)
October 18 Hamar, Norway Hamar teater Steinar Ofsdal (flutist), Ove Røsbak (local author), Silje Nergaard, Kjell Gjerseth (political activist (AKP), journalist and author), Lars Klevstrand (singer and musician) and Kari Sveen (local author) are among the actors in a solidarity concert the Afghanistan Committee had arranged. Silje accompanies herself on a recently purchased synthesizer and was singing her own music and songs by Joni Mitchell and Carole King; all in accompaniment of Jørn Fodnestøl on bass. It was the premiere for Silje with her own melody on the poem "En russisk mor" ('A Russian Mother') by Klaus Hagerup
In the newspaper was mentioned Silje actively was involved in the solidarity work on a daily basis, being a member of the Afghanistan Committee.

After a torchlight procession a peace service in Hamar Cathedral was held with singing and music, text reading, speech and prayer. The youth is represented by Silje Nergaard (vocals) and Jørn Fodnestøl (bass).
Part of various activities in Hamar by the organisation Nei Til Atomvåpen (No To Nuclear Weapons).
