| Translation by Dag Sirnes: Easter jazz [in Bodų] Tonight, Wednesday, the Ad-Lib Jazz Club is visited by one of Tromsų's most important musicians, the saxophonist Henning Gravrok, who is about to move to Bodų. Gravrok has, among other things, played with Torgeir Stubų on the LP ''Notice'', currently he also plays in the jazz rock group Synkh. With him are four of our local musicians - Jan Gunnar Hoff, piano, Terje Nilsen, bass, Robert Karlsson, drums, and Finn Robert Olsen, guitar. The 6th person in the ensemble is a new and upcoming star, Silje Nergaard from Hamar. She is 17 years old and was discovered during the jazz festival in Molde in 1983. She has also appeared in, among other things, Flimra on TV. The concert is supported by Rikskonsertene (Concerts Norway). |
