About this album
In 2003 the 21 year old Ayanda Mpama, a Music and Drama student at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, was in the top 10 of the third Idols contest of South Africa when she was voted out. After she had her degree she moved to Johannesburg.
On this debut album Aya is singing Shame On You and Be Still My Heart mainly in English, but some sentences are in Zulu. The other songs Silje and Mike McGurk made are in English.
