Note: Eidsvolls-bygningen is a historic manor house located at Eidsvoll in Viken county, Norway. The building is where the Constitution of Norway was signed on 17 May 1814. The estate is now owned by The State of Norway and is a museum. Shortly after this eventful spring of 1814, the Eidsvoll building became important as a symbol of Norwegian independence. In 1851 the building became Norwegians first national cultural monument.
