Silje Nergaard, Stian Carstensen and Tomas Strønen
Stian Carstensen and Tomas Strønen added humor and shaky charm to Silje Nergaard's sensitive song.
Silje Nergaard has an at times introverted and sensitive expression. But with the help of a fun accordion and a creative drummer, the temperature rose considerably.
The standard songs appeared in both jazz, soul and cabaret costumes. The trio twisted and bent the classics, Silje sang softly, beautifully and kicked in on a brilliant "The Dry Cleaner From Des Moines".
The black-dressed singer was full of sensuality, and told that she was in love many times when she lived in Bergen.
''I can not see if my old boyfriends are here ?!''
But we could confirm that: "You make me smile with my heart" from the beautiful duet with Stian Carstensen, "My Funny Valentine".
The accordionist from the band Farmers Marked did his part for the well-being. He even sang with an ironic 20's hilarious voice, made Silje sing "Saving All My Love For You", and triggered a landslide of suggestions for 80's songs when the extra number was next.
After a hilarious version of the (Norwegian song for Eurovision Song Contest in 1960 ) ''Voi Voi'' - which Silje did not remember the lyrics to - they found the magic again in ''Round Midnight''.
