It took a Silje Nergaard to fill the Promenade (in Sandefjord). And the over 100 attendees got to see a performance on the borderland between jazz, pop and ballet.
Sandefjord Blad had to leave relatively early due to the perpetually pressing deadline, but already after the third song, most of the spectators were ready to both help Silje "when she falls" and stay the winter through even though presumably "she has to go another way''.
With her entire family in front of the stage, Silje Nergaard's occasionally sore voice and Nils Einar Vinjor's dexterous guitar playing put the emotions into play. It will be no surprise if the music shops in the city run out of the lady's new CD "Brevet" in the coming days. Too many "love you from far away". Therefore, we promise to "send a letter to the moon". With return postage, so we are sure to get you back.
IN BORDERLAND: Silje Nergaard moved in borderland between jazz, pop and ballads on the Promenade yesterday.
