| Translation by Dag Sirnes: Beautiful, beautiful With a trembling feeling I sat down on a somewhat poorly visited Sinus. This concert with Blue Girls could be a classic experience, - and it was. Silje Nergaard and Kristin Berglund opened with one of the my all-time favorites, James Taylor's '' Summer's Here ''. Oh! Rarely has such heat boiled from Sinus' stage, the atmosphere was very sensitive. Silje sang Jarrau's '' Your Song '' and melted away any worries or gloomy feelings one might have. As the third blue girl, guitarist and chorister Knut Reiersrud, expressed it a little later: "On the border between music and art". Magic, I acknowledge. In between they also served some blues, boogie and ragtime songs, improbably good drive. In the second section, the trio chose to present more of their own material, Kristin Berglund evoked devotion among the audience as she sang her "Sunday In Topica", harmonious and slightly melancholy. Her songs had a broad sphere in them, a similar kind one has to be found amoung so-called "folk stars" like Joni Mitchell and Suzanne Vega, but it must be said that Kristin stands out from these artists, she does not copy Mitchell's special harmonies in any way, she has a lot to show in her own calm and reflective songs. Silje Nergaard may have a more distinctive voice, and a potential that is in the process of developing into a beautiful capacity. The two girls in Mitchell's '' Big Yellow Taxi '' knocked me out, it is possible they were better than the original as well. But even the best has an end: '' I Got My Pajamas on '' was supposed to be good night from the kids on stage, but the extras could never be too many. In the end, however, Paul Simon's "You're Kind" came in a hot and cat-soft version. What a sensual experience! Blue Girls' informal and warm performance created a contact with the audience that was unique to me. It was so beautiful in every way that it is difficult to find words.
